The Chevalier shook as the world around the large aircraft warped and shifted into a constant stream of blues, greens, and pale yellows. Burning Ashes: Dance of the Night
A single beam of light shook Silver out of his sleep, forcing him to pull his pillow over his eyes to block the blinding light. Grumbles of frustration rumbled out as he pulled himself up, haphazardly tossing his pillow aside. His eyelids felt like they were made out of stone as he tried to wake himself up. He heard his elbows and back crack as he stretched out.

The sound of shattering glass got Silver’s attention, his eyes shooting open.
